The Coming Curse - Iced Earth.

This. So much this. I play this a lot when I'm in a mood to vent through music.

The only bad-ass song that I know of is Sir Mix-a-lot's "Baby Got Back".

-Marc.

Given the subject matter, I'd say that's more a good ass song, if the subject applies to you.

...and it does to me  :lol
The bones of beasts and the bones of kings become dust in the wake of the hymn.
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall, no more than a breath on the wind.

Sorry, I was using the 90's meaning of "bad", which meant good. :lol

Kvelertak - Liktorn
Death - Spirit Crusher
Winter - Into Darkness
Converge - My Unsaid Everything
A Life Once Lost - Needleman
Alice In Chains - I Know Somethin (Bout You)       Layne Stayley alone.
Annotations of an Autopsy - Impale The Sun  (regardless of how they ditched what made them good, this album was awesome and any song about Impaling the sun has to be badass)
The Beatles - Hey Bulldog
Black Breath - Fatal Error ( any song of this EP really)
Black Dahlia Murder - A Shrine To Madness
Cannibal Corpse - Scourge of Iron
Children of Bodom - Everytime I Die, Sixpounder
Cough - Mind Collapse
Death Angel - I Chose The Sky
Dethklok - Laser Cannon Death Sentence
Exodus - Deathamphetamine, Children of a Worthless God, The Sun is My Destroyer

and that's what I've got for now.

Since this is Dream Theater Forum, I have to admit that Take The Time has a really badass intro IMO.

And of course:
Slayer - Raining Blood

And a few others:
Evergrey - Fear
James Labrie - This Is War

How has no one included Welcome Home by Coheed & Cambria?  Or Blood and Thunder by Mastodon?  Or Painkiller by Judas Priest (or Death)?  Or Brand New Day from Dr. Horrible?

Bolt Thrower - Anti Tank (Dead Armour)
Karnivool - Scarabs
Opeth - Bleak
Disarmonia Mundi - Come Forth, My Dreadful One
And Unearth. Unearth is specialized in making fucking badass songs so I don't know which one to choose. Arise the War Cry is the first one that comes to mind.

Pink Floyd - Echoes (if nothing else but for that riff, oh, and the funky bit, and then that bit with the jangly guitar after the brooding bit, and pretty much the entire song)

Genesis - In The Cage (that solo, and that organ riff)

Oh, and not forgetting:

Black Sabbath - Neon Knights
This is as exciting as superluminal neutrinos. The sexy thing is that this actually exists :D
