Sorry, it's kind of funny that this happens often enough that you have a guy for it. How much longer until that threat is over?
This is the 4th time. Our community was built in three phases (three residential streets). We were the second phase and when we did the closing inspection on our house they told the internet was ready to go, just have to call the ISP. We close on the house and move in, call the ISP.
The ISP is like "LOLZ no, your builder never told us they were building two more phases, we never laid the lines, see you in 2-3 months"
We were the first house in our phase to close so we found out and broke the news to our neighbors, so we formed together and threatened our builder so they paid a massive fee to expidite the installation of the fiber lines.
This is where the fun begins. They come out and lay temporary lines across the road, they told us and the build these lines could have a car or truck drive over them but construction trucks (phase three was just getting started) will break the line and you need a new one. They told the builder to use these speed bumps the ISP provided to put over the lines. About an house later the builder hasn't done shit and a massive dump truck drives over all the lines and they shatter, internet is out.
ISP comes back and cuts brand new lines and puts them over the road again. Next time was when the builder mowed over the line with a lawn mower.
Third time was when the ISP was burying the lines. The broke the line and never did a signal test to see if it was working before leaving.
This fourth time is they broke our line while laying lines down for phase 3.
Ultimately ATT has been super helpful and because of all the outages we've only had to pay our cable bill a couple of months because of all the issues.
