Android fragmentation?
There are now like 3 different "stores" for android apps. The Google App Market, Amazon App Store, and the Tegra 2 Zone. How does this benefit the customer without causing confusion. In the case of the Tegra 2 Zone, do these apps only run on phones with the Tegra 2 chipset? Will there be one for the Snapdragon dual-core chipset phones (such as the new Evo 3D, etc).
Having stores for specific phone chipsets will cause some sort of fragmentation of the app stores.
I don't see how this is a good thing. Comments?
