Was in... Rusty Nail as my opening cocktail, and some Californian Pinot Noir with dinner.

Undercover Shutdown is good, as is Little Sumpin Sumpin. My local dive got Lagunitas IPA on tap this week and MAN, had I forgotten how good it is.

Had some whipped cream vodak (intentionally misspelled) in my coffee this morning also. Then some Yuengling at the hair salon. Then off to Bonefish Grill for some Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and a margarita. Now home and back to Yuengling.

On the couch right now with a new double IPA from Other Half. Heading down to a new bar/restaurant soon for dinner and beers (and hopefully avoiding being peer pressured into imbibing tequila).

Teeling Irish Wiskey small batch aged in Rum barrels.  It has a nice spice to it.

Btw if I didn't read before I posted this it would have said Rumborak barrels.   :lol

Don't often partake on a Thursday night, but the return of Archer calls for something. A splash of Balvenie 21 in this case. Mighty fine.

Knob Creek otr

I can never drink that.  New Years eve some time ago my friend brought a bottle of it.  4 of us took a shot, 3 of us immediately puked.  Me into a box since that's all I could find close, my friend onto his shirt, and my other friend ran outside and projectile vommitted all over the snow just outside my friends front door to his parents house.   :lol

To be fair, how drunk were you already when you took the shot?  :lol

Straight from the bottle, it isn't all that great.  Usually anytime I'm gonna have a glass of bourbon, like for sipping, I'll get some ice in, pour the bourbon, then let it sit for a while.  Like an hour.  Lets it aerate and allows the ice to melt.  All of the great bourbon flavor and bite is still there, just a little more mellow than straight out bottle strength.  Knob Creek definitely needs this sort of treatment.

In other news, tacos tonight, so I'll be making jalapeno margaritas.

Yea, we were already drunk at that point and honestly it was not the best time to take a shot of anything, let alone a bourbon.  My friend was like "thats a decent bottle, not some cheep shit to make you guys puke!"  He was so mad because now we always make fun of him for it even though we all know it was just something we should not have been doing and how we all so quickly reacted.

I had a beer from Garrison City that wasn't even on Untapped.  It was a wheat hoppy ale. It was amazing. So was the name.

Oxi-Moronic.
