Anyone know where I can find a chill bar/pub/brewery in San Antonio? I'm visiting in early October and wanted to grab some drinks!

In. Been nursing a beer for a while. I started it with dinner, then I started making zucchini bread, but there were weevils in my unopened flour (I had it a while) so I had to go to the store for the 2nd time today, and it's finally in the oven and dishes are in the dishwasher. So yeah.

Drinking Trooper Red n Black porter. It's delicious.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

The Irishman single malt whiskey. It's freaking incredible. At $32 per bottle it's a steal.

I have so much beer leftover from my BBQ this weekend.  Mostly Octoberfest and Miller Lites.  I think I have a lot of drinking to do in the near future.

In... Hop Nosh IPA, 7.3 ABV,  first time trying.  Full bodied taste without a lot of heaviness.  A little sweet/fruity start with a mild bitter/spice finish.  After a brutal summer today was our first day of cool weather (Atlanta) and this was a nice choice to welcome the fall.

Having some rotisserie chicken and caesar salad and celebrating a nice contract award.  Do you ever get nervous when things are going well?   LOL

Could put the Hop Nosh in rotation, really enjoying.
But the arc of your life will still be profound

I drank Smuttynose's Pumpkin Ale last night. Not bad. Strange thing though. I fell asleep before finishing it. When I woke up I drank what was left of it and it almost tasted better a bit warmer. It was like I got the full effect of the spices in it.

Not strange at all. I love when beer is warmer and your taste buds pick up more.

It was definitely better warmer. Then again, I would think something cold would block the effect that some kind of spice is supposed to have. So now when I have the next one I'll let it sit first.   :lol

That pumpkin ale is made more organic, less spices.

It's not as spiced as say, Warlock, but it's better than your average pumpkin beer. Speaking of, I think I'll take a ride to the beer distributor later and see if they have any Warlock.
