First new episode of the season airs Wednesday!

Looks like it'll mostly be about the recent Apple craze. As a moderate Apple fanboy, I can't wait to see what they do with Steve Jobs.

I wasn't big on the last season at all, but I think the show still has a lot of potential. It's hard to tell how this next episode will turn out from the clip.

Basing it on a hybrid satire of Apple and a bad horror movie is certainty an interesting prospect. One that could go very wrong, mind you,

I have a feeling they'll make it work. Matt and Trey are great at taking bizarre, abstract concepts and building terrific stories around them. And I loved Season 14. I think the past few seasons have been strong.

Some episodes are meh, and some are absolutely hilarious. But overall, I think the past few seasons have been pretty consistent. Definitely enough to keep me looking forward to the next episode each time.

I won't be able to watch it until it's uploaded online though because I don't have cable hooked up at school.

Make sure you watch it on Thursday then. Due to some legal issues or whatever, they tend to upload them for one or two days, and then take them down for a few weeks due to "pre-exisitng contractual obligations."

They haven't had smart writing in years, especially with their satires. It's becoming more Simpsons with swearing than anything.

I don't see how you can think that, Orcus. The older seasons were known for being nothing but swearing and offensive humor. By contrast, almost every new episode tries to send some kind of message or get across some kind of point. It's definitely matured over time.

But the messages are so forced and blatant. The celebrity satires are pretty much animated TMZ sequences where they go for the most obvious jokes and leave nothing to the imagination.

Wait, what? Even last season had 200 and 201, which were pretty good. And going back the last few seasons have definitely had some smart episodes. Are you serious?

Yep. They've been running on cruise control for a few seasons now. They used to yield a half dozen great episodes a season but I couldn't enjoy any from the last one. I think I watched the first four or five and had to stop.

I thought last season was hit or miss but the 2 seasons before were very strong.

I read that 201 on the DVD is as it aired that night and that Matt and Trey aren't really allowed to comment on it very much. I hope Comedy Central takes the stick out of their ass and finally lets it air... I mean seriously. There has been a lot worse that has aired on tv.

I bought the DVD today, all geared up to see 201 as it was meant to be seen. Instead, I get it censored. On something I went out of my way to purchase in order to view privately in my home. Fuck Comedy Central, and fuck Muslim Revolution.

Who cares if its like that? It's not like every television show has to be some groundbreaking thing. South Park just does it better than everyone else imo.

I 100% agree. Hopefully soon they will release the uncensored version... but I don't see that coming in the near future. Remember, the DVDs are released by Comedy Central. I think there is some big legal thing going on that Matt/Trey and CC are duking out, but they are keeping it totally under the radar.
