Can you actually take me off the list for now please, Hath? Uni just started today, and while I was keen to do all my write ups a cuply months ago, I imagine the amount of writing I'll have to do this year will just put me in that 'can't be fucked' pile of lost Top 50 threads

Will revisit once I have uni break.

Yeah, things like these really change from person to person. It's not even that I have like 90% new albums, my v2 is looking a bit 50/50 for now, but as time passes I think that will change.

I'm currently relistening to my entire musical collection, and just out of curiosity, I attempted to do a new top 50. Surprisingly, half of it has totally changed, and it's new. But I still don't feel 100% confident with it, so I may start my v2 in May.

I'm not ready and don't want to do it just for sake of doing it. But I hope I'll have something soon because summer is the only time when I have enough time for such thing

EDIT: Just saw your signature. The To-Listen Project is your Facebook site? I was actually checking that site but recently I unfollowed all sites because I don't want to waste time on Facebook (even though things like that are not waste of time).

So, I know that I sound pretty annoying, but now that the roulette is over and I feel more relaxed (not because of the roulette, just generally), I was willing to ask if I may do a reboot of my v2. Like, start it over. Like a 2.5 . On the same thread, though. It has happened other times in the past, right?

You will be likely be waiting a few months but my recommendation would be to start now. It is a significant exercise that IMHO is much more enjoyable for you and those following if you have pre-prepared most of your write-ups. Writing up as you go can be a chore as daily life interferes and the timeframe tends to blow out.

Those who have done this before… How hard was it for you to come up with 50 good albums? I just started a list of albums that I really really like last night, and can only get up to about 40 or so. I also don't want to oversaturate my list with a whole bunch of the same genre, because I like so many albums from different artist in different genres.

Well I would imagine that I missed several, since I whipped it up in about five minutes time. I'll probably end up with the top 200. My problem is, I just looked through my iTunes folders, and a lot of my music from my old computer didn't copy over, so… I also was trying to limit myself I don't want to put every single rush album on there, how are every single Genesis album or every single dream theater album...
