I just listened to the first two tracks.  :tup

All thanks to a metal recommendation playlist from Spotify, otherwise I wouldn't have known about a new 7D album, and it's been out since early October! Why didn't anyone tell me this?
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .

I've been meaning to get around to Indestructible lately but haven't felt inclined. Immortalized is one of my favourite releases this year and I wanted to go back through their discography to see if they had more that appealed to me, but I thought Asylum was pretty average so I've lost some of my enthusiasm.

I don't really care for Asylum either, it's the contrary for me, I haven't gotten to the new Disturbed album yet, to this day Indestructible is still the only Disturbed album I like front to back, even The Sickness, 10.000 fists etc. don't appeal to me.

I've heard bits and pieces of The Sickness and 10,000 Fists, maybe Believe (not actually sure), but never sat down to listen to them as I didn't like what I heard enough to bother. Your comments make me a little more optimistic about Indestructible, perhaps we're on the same page regarding this band.

DT - 8v
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here
Led Zeppelin - IV
The Smiths - The Sound of The Smiths (i think they don`t get enough love)
Opeth - Pale Communion
It seems that they're entering an area of extreme hazard. A zone of some sort. A dangerous one.

Love that album, frankly, I prefer this over Blackwater Park, which may seem preposterous to most here.

They do stick to the same formula over and over even moreso on this album, but there's a lot of catchy stuff, The Night and Perfect Insanity are my favorites.

Some good stuff, some not so good  :lol

The band was completely divided and it shows. I still like it nonetheless.

I've always liked this album, but now that I got into stoner, somehow I'm loving this one a lot more. Dunno if it has to do with anything, but what the hell, this is fantastic. Highly recommended for those who dig stoner/drone metal (you too Parama  :P ).

This first Metalium record is amazing, power metal with a cheesy-ass sci-fi story, but great playing (Terrana, Caffery) and Heening Basse has an amazing voice. It´s a shame that the rest of their records can´t compare to this one. The second is ok, but the rest is weak, IMHO.
