Yeah this is a good point. Terrorists wouldn't draw attention to themselves before they attack, giving the air marshals time to do their job. But look 'out of the ordinary' and you can turn into the bad guy without actually doing anything.

True. But at the same time Jews have never taken over a plane. And to my knowledge haven't ever done a suicide bombing.

Yeah SD because I travel so often and such long distances (U.S to UAE and back) I've gained high status with Delta's sky priority thing fast and they treat me super nice hehe
I used to get upgraded to first class on my Abu Dhabi-Atlanta flight all the time but that stopped a few month agom and since then it has been a bitch getting used to coach again , this time they wanted to upgrademe to first class yesterday but I insisted on keeping my seat in coach cause I can't get used to that kinda comfort again just for them to throw me back in coach again next time, I wanna forget what I'm missing!

I think they kinda wouldn't, not with the recent tea party fear/hate mongering towards Islam.
My wife has been living in Texas since 1997 and she never felt anything weird from co-workers regarding her being Muslim until the last year or so, she didn't even feel anything of the sort after 9/11.
Funny story: we were eating out with friends at an Italian restaurant and as usual my wife asks if what she ordered has bacon in it to double check, after I moved to the states in 2008 and one of our friends asked me jokingly if we ever worry that question would identify us as Muslims and the waiter would spit in our food, I told him we're hoping they just assume we're Jewish and he said "But that's bad too" 

Interesting. What part of Texas are we talking about? Because at least here in Houston there's a large population of both Jews and Muslims.
