Illusion Suite- The Iron Cemetery

A killer band Nem introduced me to, their second album, The Iron Cemetery, has been out for a bit over a month. Kick ass power metal with some heavy prog leanings. Any other fans here?

The drums were easily the highlight of the album for me, Roger just kicked ass all over the damn thing.

I've run through The Iron Cemetery twice now. This album is fantastic. Sounds like a more powerful Circus Maximus.

The highlight for me so far is the vocals on Nostradamus' First Prophecy.

Alright, I just bought the new one.  Will start listening tonight on the way home from work.  If it's half as good as their debut I'll be a happy camper

This thread needs more views. Nem had emailed me about this as well when I first started reviewing, and I can't get enough of it.

Gave this a listen on Spotify last night, pretty solid stuff. Plus points for making songs that aren't really that long feel longer than they are by means of clever arrangement-there's a lot going on in each song, so much so that when you finish a song, you're kind of shocked that it was only five minutes long. Need to see to find their debut now.
