Damn, so much to catch up!  Starting with the songs I see on this page so far:

20. Wondrous Stories (17). This song has aged incredibly well with me over the years. I absolutely love the section from 2:17 to 2:31, where Chris Squire sings a beautiful response/countermelody to Jon's main vocal line. That is one of my all time favorite Yes moments.

19. Long Distance Runaround (27). Bill Bruford's drum part is brilliant, and the way he and Squire lock in during the instrumental breaks is just super cool.

18. To Be Over (19). Slightly off the consensus, but man, what a nice, mellow close to an otherwise intense album. One of Steve Howe's more underrated contributions to Yes, for sure, and the outro is quite epic for an otherwise slow journey down a river.

17. Tempus Fugit (37). Yep, all about that bass. Drama, for me, is all about Squire and White kicking ass as a rhythm section, and they are in championship form on this one. Steve Howe matches their intensity on this one as well.

15t. Sound Chaser (20). Speaking of intensity, here comes this one. I actually don't mind Howe's guitar tone on Relayer. That bright, spanky tone that a Telecaster does better than anything else is actually well-suited for the context of this album. I've seen footage of Yes opening with this and playing it even faster than the record, which is nuts!

15t. I've Seen All Good People (NR). This one has been beaten to death for me. Is it a fun tune? Sure, but they could never play this song again and I'd be more than okay with that.

14. Going For the One (NR). Only song from the album I didn't rank. The guitar is what kinda kills this one for me.

13. Turn of the Century (5). One of Yes' most beautiful works. I also like the fact that Alan White had a big hand in writing this song, while there's no real drum part to speak of. As a drummer, I think that is really cool!

12. The Revealing Science of God (42). There's a really good 10-15 minute song in here, that would probably make my top 10. As it is, I think it's a little too bloated for me. Hearing Steven Wilson's remix of this album though, pushed this song in to my top 50. I feel like he did a great job bringing this album to life.

That was the disappearing testicle, haha! Long story short, 6 weeks ago I had excruciating lower back pain, groin pain, and both testicles were rotating in sharp pain.. Went to my doc and he said it was probably compressed or herniated discs. It went away for a few days, then came back so I went to the ER last Thursday had an ultrasound, CT scan, urine and blood work. I have deterioration in lower discs, swollen lymph nodes and inflammation in my groin, and a hydrocele in my testicles which needs to be drained. Good times.
I've had a hydrocele before.  I had to go have that procedure done.

I spun D/T and ADToE this weekend, paying really close attention to the drums. It's going to be interesting to hear MP's rendition of some of these songs. Gotta believe The Alien will be in the setlist. This is a tough song to play. MP will certainly handle it just fine but it may have his spin on it in some places.

Oddly, I think MP (playing MM songs, specifically) will have the benefits/issues as LaBrie live. In the moment, at the concert, 95% of the people won't notice any differences as long as the parts are mostly similar, but when people see either a DVD or live videos, they will notice the differences a lot more and those that demand identical performances will not be thrilled.

They had portable TVs in the 70s…and local stations playing old movies were really common.

A battery-powered TV in the mid-'70s?  You can take a small TV on a bus, but what are you plugging it into?  Even if you've got power, I have a hard time imagining the reception not being crap.

well they clearly lost the race, kick em out

Dabney Coleman was ubiquitous in the '80s.  Very versatile.  War Games was one of my favorite movies of my teen years.  I'll still stop down and watch when it shows up on TV now and then.  He's been in so many things.  I'm confident that if I looked at his filmography, I'd have multiple moments of "oh yeah...I loved that one!"

I loved him in Modern Problems with Chevy Chase. Total classic!

A guy at a recent Mariners game caught two foul balls. On consecutive pitches!

Didn't look like he caught the second one, but that's some crazy precision by the batter to place two consecutive foul balls in the same 4x4 square nearly 300 feet away!
