yeah, i think the Charli XCX influence is pretty apparant on 10,000 gecs. it's like they heard how i'm feeling now and decided to tone down the chaos from 1,000 gecs haha

I posted this in the other thread I started this morning, but thought I post here as well, for anyone who misses it.

Yesterday I spun Coven - Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls and Dissection - Reinkaos...



I was unaware of Coven but it appears their brand of occult rock predates Black Sabbath's debut. It is particularly cool because the final track is a 13 minute Satanic Mass :metal  I would be very surprised if Tobias Forge is not a fan. Really cool stuff.

Dissection I know, although I've only heard The Somberlain and Storm of the Light's Bane. Reinkaos was more melodic than their previous releases, from what I remember, but I'm going to revisit those early albums today or tomorrow :metal

I liked it.  But I think that saying it's a "country album" isn't quite accurate.  It's a Beyonce album, with heaping helpings of country overtones, but there is other stuff on here as well.

If you don't already like Beyonce's stuff, I'm not sure you would like this, either.  But I do, and I do lol
