Zook is right.
There is a new telling of The Caine Munity due out later this year. Big fan of the original. Curious to see this take on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Caine_Mutiny_Court-Martial_(2023_film)

The man can direct a thriller, that's for sure. Seems like this one will focus on the court martial and will be set in the Persian Gulf. Should be alright. I've never heard of any of them, save for Kiefer Sutherland, who's a wonderful choice for Queeg. He should fall apart quite nicely on the stand.

This has been rumored forever now. And anyone can edit IMDB, so unless there's been an official statement or something, I wouldn't read a ton into that.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.
“Compared to The Twilight Zone, the new series is said to be set in our world while putting a tweak on it, bending reality and focusing on people and exploring the human condition in an unexpected, surprising way. Thought-provoking but not a morality tale, the series also is expected to carry the signature Gilligan tone that infuses drama with humor.”
I trust Liam to do a good job. I don't trust modern Hollywood to do a good job with the script.
Here’s the thing, it has to be played straight. Throw as many dumb jokes in there as possible, but they need to make sure it’s acted as a real serious piece.Leslie Nielsen had it perfect in Airplane!. That’s the way it has to be done.
David Zucker: He was a really nice guy, Bob Stack... He really understood it, too. One of the first read-throughs, Lloyd Bridges had a lot of questions about the script. He said, "Now why would my character say this? And why...?"Jon Davison: He was actually trying to make sense of his dialogue.David Zucker: Stack just laughs and he said, "Lloyd, there's a watermelon hitting the desk behind us and a spear flying into the wall. Just talk, nobody's paying attention to us."Jerry Zucker: I also remember him telling Lloyd, he said, "Lloyd, we are the joke. Just keep going."
The horror thriller follows a woman who is convinced she is turning into a dog.
