Honestly, (aside from the prison murders) I liked the more laid back and solemn feel to the episode. It will make the 10 month wait less agonizing. Had there been tons of cliffhangers, I'd have been aggravated. I feel it's more respectful to the fans to leave us with some more subdued things to ponder. In fact, I feel these first 8 episodes took the proper approach. Instead of trying to outdo the epic scale of season 4, they've allowed some gaps in action with silence and some wonderful subtle acting, more facially motivated, complimented with body language. I it as strong? Perhaps not. But for a show that theoretically could've just ended at the end of last season fairly satisfactorily, this season so far has been a nice "epilogue" of sorts. And so far, I'm certainly content.
