The trailer doesn't interest me, but I felt the same about the last two movies and enjoyed them, so I still want to see it.

And I hope the soundtrack is as good as Quantum of Solace. :blob:

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

This is a slightly different looking version. Interestingly, at the end of the first trailer posted by the thread starter, it says the release date is in Nov., but this version says Oct.  :\

I'm definitely even more stoked for this movie after watching that trailer. It looks like it could be pretty damn good.

Also, some of the casting choices in that trailer are quite interesting.

I just got back from seeing it, and it's the best since Goldeneye in my opinion. A quality film.

Coolio.  Just re-watched CR with jingle.son last night.  QoS tomorrow, then Skyfall on Tuesday.  Heard it's pretty sweet.

I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

My brother saw it last night, he said it was the best Bond movie in a long long time.

Just came home from seeing it, really awesome movie.
I won't spoil anything, but try to sum up my opinions without giving too much away.

So the movie starts off really good. Sucked me in right away, and had me on suspense for the first 10-15 minutes or so. The theme-song by Adele was one of my favorites in a very long time. I honestly can't remember the theme song for the last couple of movies, but this one was IMO up there with the best ones, the ones that get stuck on your mind. I think the movie had a nice mix of slower and faster parts, one problem I had with Quantum of Solace was that at times it felt very drawn out, and then suddenly shit went down, but in this one there were no dragging parts.

Another thing I loved was several clever hints towards the older movies. I won't spoil anything, but there are several references in this movie towards things we recognize from the "classic" Bond-movies, so keep your eyes and ears open. ;)
Compared to previous Craig movies I'd say it was miles better than Quantum of Solace, but one or two steps over Casino Royale as well. Out of all Bond-movies it's certainly up there with the best ones. I haven't watched through the older ones in a while, but I feel like Skyfall managed to blend the more serious tone of Bond with some funny parts as well, without it becoming too cheesy or unbeliavable. (like Bond windsurfing on car-parts escaping a laserbeam)

So all in all, very good movie.  :corn

Forget the trailer for the movie, I saw a really great Heineken ad before Cloud Atlas, and it was a really awesome Bond-themed ad. Needless to say it gets me stoked.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but one thing that concerns me from the reviews and the trailers is that Bond may be turning into a completely unrealistic, almost invincible, action star type of character. Which certainly was not always the case. I guess I'll find out soon.

I seriously cannot wait, being one of the biggest Bond fans in the world. 1 critic said that not even as a 007 film, it is one of the greatest action-adventure films in a very long time and he said it may snag a best picture nomination(?)

That ad didn't do it for me because I just kept thinking about how terrible Heineken is.

Heineken certainly is bad beer. Can't argue with that.
