I used to feel that way too, but one day the song just clicked. I think it's a well-constructed epic with an interesting (albeit depressing) storyline, and the main melody is just so catchy and hummable. "The father of her unborn son and me" is also one of my favorite vocal moments in any Sonata song - too bad Tony has never been able to reproduce it live.
