Does anyone else hear a squeaking at 2:48. It comes from only the left speaker....

Yep. I hear it.

Dammit, IT CANT BE UNHEARD.

I bet it's somehow connected to the samples a little bit earlier in the song (by a few seconds) that sound like samples out of ANTR.

Where would YOU be without prog?!
I'd be standing somewhere with dignity, respect, and bitches.

I haven't heard it and I don't want to actively try to hear it, since it took me a long time to unhear the click in OTBOA.

the click in OTBOA.

It's not a click, it's the guitar.   You can hear it in the stem.

I heard it first time I heard the song. There's also a noise or two in FFH. That's the problem with having quality headphones, I guess. You hear every little error.

maybe it is JP playing a trillion notes in 1/4 of a second,  causing a slight squeak.

I bet if you boost the treble way up and then put your ear to the left speaker, you'll hear it.  I wonder what track it was recorded on. Is there any noticable instrument/effect only playing on the left at that time.

I heard it the first time I listened to it. It's so prominent that I was disappointed when I didn't hear it in concert. :lol

Because we listen to the music? I sometimes wonder how people can listen to a song so many times and not notice these things, unless you're basically listening on laptop speakers all the time.

I now tried listening to that part with studio monitors in CD quality and I clearly hear that it's there, but I can't picture myself noticing it while listening, if I didn't already know about it. But now that I do know about it, it can't be unheard  :lol
