In the DT presser at mp.com, Portnoy said that, at this stage of their careers, there are only three bands that DT would open for, and Iron Maiden is one of them. The other two are more than obvious.

Saw the news post here...went to IM.com, saw the tour schedule - and no dang show for us! Now I'll have to trek to Chicago. I have never seen Maiden in my life - and I really want to!!!

Hey, I don't think Rush would want to have a "bar band" open for them rumborak
Jesus Christ himself* comes down amidst a choir of 2 billion angels singing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. As KrotchRaut shred randomly on guitars made of dragon bones using picks made from God's kidney stones, Jesus heals a blind woman who promptly gives birth onstage to a creation of pure light.*Yes, Jesus Christ himself. Nothing less will do.
I love this news so much I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
July 17th, Detroit. If I don't see this, I will shoot people.
