Ah! They're all the longest part of their larger piece of music (by which I mean: Overture is the longest movement in SDOIT, Voices is the longest song on AMBI and TGP is the longest song in the 12SS)?

Yay! Alright, I'm not quite sure what the difficultly level of mine will be, but here goes:

Electronic elements are so rare in DT's music that it was easy for me :D

Nope. The correct answer is related to the track lengths, though.

No idea.  How about that there is a track of between 8-9 minutes either before or after these tracks.  You know 5-8.  ???

All three are locked between tracks longer than them.
All three are between 5 and 6 minutes long.

On each album the songs are on there are exactly 5 songs longer than said song.

On WDADU there's 5 songs longer than Afterlife (Ytse Jam, Killing Hand, Light Fuse, Sun, and Matter of Time)
On I&W there's 5 songs longer than Surrounded (PMU, TTT, Metropolis, UAGM and LTL)
On BC&SL all other 5 songs are longer than Wither

All where played before the release of the album they ended up being on.

Additionally, they were played back to back in this famous show: https://www.mikeportnoy.com/dates/tourography/?show=29

That must be the wrong link, because I don't see TTT or LTL in there. You're on the right track though, but the first guess was not what I was looking for.

EDIT: Duh... they're there with working titles..
