Why on earth would anyone purchase the 1cd edition?

Price I guess, but I was wondering that myself. If the three extra songs are shorter tracks I can see people (less devoted fans) choosing the 1 CD edition.

I would understand if they were considered as bonus tracks, but if they are regular album tracks, that would seem a bit strange.

What else is?  Nick hasn't updated the album release thread in too long.

In June alone we've got 2 new Devin Townsend albums, a new Alestorm album, new Symphony X, and a new Morbid Angel album.

The 2 Dev albums are my most anticipated albums ever released by anyone, Alestorm always produces high-quality material, Symphony X has been in the making for 4 years, and Morbid Angel has been in the making for 8 years.

Well, I know TAC for one is looking forward to new Hammerfail.  Probably moreso even than new Symphony X   :P

Seriously though, a Sym X double-album is very intriguing indeed.

Oh, okay.  Not interested.  But Nick should update the release thread so that information is in there.  Or may I should say:  You should post them in the thread so Nick can update it.

Well Symphony X have never had the greatest covers but the regular edition one is pretty cool. I notice you got those pictures from Roadrunner, is there an article about it that you could link me to?

If somebody has mentioned this, I missed it.  Do we know what the difference between the regular edition and the special edition will be?
