Paradise Lost is such a kick ass album!!

I couldn't agree more, the songs just groove on this album. I have to admit to liking it more then BCSL.

Scheming demons dressed in kingly guise, beating down the multitude and scoffing at the wise.

I just found out from nevermore's facebook about the NYC show: "Nevermore Grabbed this off Metal Sucks - Symphony X with Nevermore, Soilwork, Blackguard, and PowerGlove, 4/22/11:"
Idk if it's been posted before, but I'm excited now

Anyone hear Michael Romeo's score for former Dream Theater manager / Symphony X label head, Jim Pitulski's new show, Ghost Story TV?

Check it out here at PikiRocks.com

Danny Elfman, eat your heart out!

Bump.

In exactly one week, I will be participating in a crazy-epic concert event.  A friend of mine has taken to transcribing about 45 minutes worth of Symphony X music.  We will be performing it next Sunday with a five-piece combo and 20-piece chamber orchestra.  The setlist is as follows:

Intro tape (Prelude)
Evolution
Fallen
Transcendence
The Odyssey

encore: Of Sins and Shadows

Word has it that the show will be audio and video recorded.  I will make every effort to get it up so you folks can see.

SO EXCITED!!!!
VOTE IN THE BEATLES SURVIVOR!!!!!

Listen to sirbradford in all things Beatles :P

This is evil, but I went with bradford

Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

Symphony X is AWESOME!

I saw them live on the PL tour...REALLY INCREDIBLE.  Russell is probably in my top 3 vocalists of all time.  He is so passionate.

My friends and I waited for the buses for about two hours.  Totally worth it.  Allen was so big!  I'd love to see a bear fight between him and JP.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. I saw Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience last night at the Best Buy Theater and saw the advertisement for the Symphony X show, but wasn't aware that they were playing with Nevermore. I might go.

Nevermore would be the deciding factor if I was to go. I only have one album each by Symphony X and Nevermore though, so I can't justify spending thirty bucks on a ticket.

Oh you :lol

Well, it is on a Friday, and my friends and I can just take the train down to the city... those things are always a plus. I want to go, but I want to get more music from them before buying a ticket. In all honesty, do you think they'll sell out a 2,100-seating theater in New York? Iced Earth didn't even sell out when I saw them.

I've never had an issue with a metal band selling out on me so far, but Washington is a different state than New York, so I have no clue. Seriously, Get This Godless Endeavor and Politics of Ecstasy. Nao.
