Srsly, I'm not stressing it at all, but I imagine that others who have their lists ready in some form are being left out. I'd rather see a list that's been thought out and a bit more expansive rather then 'this is my nostalgia porn'. No offense to DC...but it's kinda ridonkulous; I doubt the next write up will be any more than what's already been posted.
Sorry that some of my favorite games happen to coincide with my childhood and that the others don't really take 5 paragraphs to explain.
You can expect more lengthy write ups further up the lists, I don't want to waste your time with my "nostalgia porn"
Anywho, onwards.
19. Tecmo Super Bowl (1991)
Watch out, it's another game I played a bunch in my childhood and even today! Tecmo Super Bowl has kept me entertained through rainy afternoons, super boring classes, and lonely evenings. It pretty much improved upon everything from the previous Tecmo Bowl, not only game wise but the fact that you could play as actual NFL teams with the actual rosters of the time. It also just so happened most of my favorite teams were pretty good at the time, so I could play as the Bills, and destroy any team with the rush offense, or play as the Chiefs and Mcfuck you up. It was also annoyingly awesome that with each win the game got more and more frustratingly difficult, not only by making it nearly impossible to pass, but also impossible to defend, so when you were able to pull of that deep pass, sack the QB, or intercept the ball, you felt like a fucking champ. The game also simply does not get old, I have popped this game on so many times, and I keep coming back because it never loses it's entertainment.
