I was never a massive DT fan but these albums are weird. Enjoying Snuggles a bit as working music.

Probably their most consistently great album since Train of Thought for me. Other albums have higher highs but this album doesn’t have a single weak song imo.

Revisited Iotunn after a while. Such a unique record. My only quibble is that I don't love the way it sounds, but the songs are majestic. Waves Below, in particular, is massive.

I've been enjoying Satan's latest SO much. I've only discovered them recently, but from what I've read these NWOBHOM veterans have been on an incredible run since they've reformed about ten years ago.  Really good, vintage sound, with a ton of great riffs and interesting twists and turns. At times, this album sounds like a "lighter" Mercyful Fate (minus the vocals). But in general there is an urgency in the playing that's very refreshing. Bonus points: one of the guitar players and the bass player were also in my beloved Skyclad.

I'm enjoying it too.  I hope they do another run through North America and play some of the songs they didn't play during the first leg.

Ghost Of The Machine - Scissorgames. For once 5he Facebook algorithm came up with something decent. Early Marillion, IQ, Pendragon prog. Really nice.

Another favorite from 1992. This is an album, and band, that I got turned onto by some guys on the MP forum back in the day. Like, 20 years ago! 
There was a time during my freshman year of college when I was listening to this everyday. Love, love, love this album. It’s not for everyone. But it’s unique and fun. And there is some genius songwriting in there.

I think it's time I had a talk with my kids
I'll just tell 'em what my daddy told me
You ain't never gonna amount to nothin'

When Angel Dust came out, I already knew FNM from The Real Thing, which I really liked. But Angel Dust, for me, took it to a whole different level. They balanced the quirky and the catchy, the heaviness and melody so incredibly well here, and Mike Patton's performance is fantastic. I love this album so much, it's one of my all-time favorites.
