Well, I managed to do 6 of them (I also tried Prospekt but turned it off pretty soon) which isn't too bad, on The Sound of Perseverance now.
King Goat: Great stuff all around, very good slow sludgy stuff, wouldn't mind putting this in regular rotation to see if more sticks.
Norma Jean: While also good, a lot of metalcore can get tiresome to me after a while, wouldn't regularly listen to this album in full, but some songs are definitely good enough to save. (doesn't help that an already fairly long metalcore album closes with a long ass tune)
Der Weg Einer Freiheit: Expected to love this and I think I do. Not getting all I want out of it after one listen obviously, but it is good all the way through and not overlong.
kaddisfly: This is one that I had already spinned a couple of songs of prior to this, but never got through the whole album. It's... veeery long, and doesn't feel like it has to be. Kind of bored me sometimes, but some songs are really good.
Mew: This one is really good. Very pleasant listen and can see myself getting addicted to this stuff. I need a follow-up album for this band based on my appeal to this album now guys.
Death: I'm only on the second song but am already demanding for more suggestions for this band. Probably the best album out of the bunch, super technical and innovative but also very rocking. The fast stuff reminds me of Vektor and sometimes early Novembre, but this band offers something more, almost proto prog-deathish.
Prospekt: Oh yeah the reason I couldn't finish this might have been mood-wise, but I couldn't really take those vocals for longer than a couple songs. Pretty good stuff instrumentally but I generally don't love prog-power leaning vocals in high doses.
