Since my bike is back on the road - i'm driving around 80 miles a day

Found an awesome circuit that has amazing long wide roads.

Pulled over by Police earlier !

I'd forgotten to turn my fuel on so was spluttering and driving slow so I pulled over and a police car pulled in front of me.

Told them i'd just forgotten to turn my fuel on. They checked my licence and number plate etc and said on your way

Color me jealous! There is nothing but straight, flat roads here in Florida. I can't wait to move up north and get a change of scenery.

I was going for miles in one direction - and I thought " hmm i don't want to run out of petrol miles from a station - i'll head back "

Next day - topped up the tank - and went back. Turns out that the road I was heading down eventually ends up back where I started anyway

i'd have been completely fine. Oh well. Better to be safe than sorry

In other news, it's been quite cold here for about two weeks now and the heating in my house is broken. It will be repaired tomorrow, but it's getting colder inside every day. We're down to 14 C (57 F I think?) now, which basically means I wear two pairs of trousers and socks, two sweaters and a scarf when I'm at home. And I still have a bad cold.

I would have thought you'd be better adapted to the cold where you live. 14C is about as cold it ever gets during the day here (it can get down to 0C overnight occasionally). I've never double-panted or double-socked, but I have a really thick Winter robe that keeps me warm.

I'll wear jeans and t-shirt down to about 16C if it's a clear day. I love walking in cooler weather. If it's overcast or windy, I might wear a jacket though. If it's 13C, I'm wearing a jacket regardless. I'm Australian, so that's about as far as my resistance to cold can go.

'sup. Speaking of weather, we might be getting some flurries this weekend. Nothing that will stick, but it's getting in to the low single digits. Raking time soon. Thankfully we don't have that many trees... we just get the shit blown on our yard from the park across the street from our house.
