Mother fucker... it's August already.  WTH??

Don't get me going about humidity.  A couple of weekends ago, I woke up to let the dogs out in the morning, and the sliding glass doors were covered in water - I couldn't see outside.  I thought to myself 'holy crap it must've rained hard, and at a helluva angle to soak the doors that much'.  I opened the door to let them out, and my deck was bone dry.  No rain.  Looked to my weather station, and it was 99% humidity.

Gonna rain here most of the weekend, so jingle.son and I are gonna catch up on MI 1, 3, and 4... then hit Rogue Nation sometime before I have to travel to Phx next week.  Gonna get me some chicken pot pie while I'm down there.  :caffeine:

I was always really cheap about paying someone to do the lawn but it's one of the best things you can do if you can afford it.

I cannot wake up earlier than 7 and it's pissing me off no matter how early I go to bed.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
