Can you not see the big L plate on my bike ?

I'll tell you what I *do* like though - is when other bikers give you a nod or a wave

, that's a lot of miles, it took me almost six months to do that many on my bike this year. I need to go riding more

This was my first ever bike - I got it on my 9th birthday ! Perfect for bombing around in the desert when we lived in Dubai at the time !

I've been contemplating getting a bike for years.

So I'm pretty damn proud of myself at work. I came in at the start of my shift and had a scheduling meltdown thrown in to my lap. Guy's girlfriend went in to labor. He is taking a week off... He gave us a heads up on it... so we've been playing the waiting game. Filling his shift isn't as easy as just "you, random guy, work this shit please." Seeing as it's another account... but I was able to get really creative and get it all filled (with the exception of ONE day next week, but I have time to feel it out and fill it later). And this all happened in an hour.

Usually it takes several hours to get things filled

So I had to put the bike on reserve today and I swore I only filled up yesterday !

I checked my bank to see when I last filled up and it said yesterday

Luckily that was the date the actual money went out of my account and I checked the receipt and it was 5 days ago. The weather has been great so i've obviously been riding a lot more !

Usually I fill up once a week. Was a bit worried for a while !

I made a note of the mileage when I topped up and will compare it when I next fill up

Work til 5, then home to the fam, catch up on some Netflix.

BTW, speaking of Netflix - I know I'm late to the party, but House of Cards is awesome, and Frank Underwood is one of my favorite TV characters.

Also the new show Bloodline looks incredible. We've only seen the first episode so far, but it was really intense, and with a great cast.

Yes it is Hef. I have the full cable boat. Every year they want to raise my price and I tell them that I've been with them now for 22 years and I want the same cost or I leave. I get the same price all the time.
