I don't mind walking. Actually I do a lot of hiking when the weather is nicer.

I just woke up from passing out. You can't surprise me like that!

I like that one.

I need to work on sound effects. But I want to listen to music. Curse these mutually exclusive activities!

An hour of overtime today.  2-4 tomorrow. Another 2-4 on Tuesday. And I've been told that I don't step up and take it as much as I should.  I could also pull an full 8 on Wednesday.. but it's my birthday and I will not be answering the phone. Lol
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Oh, yeah.  My wife sings and I play guitar/drums and sing in our band at church.

Is Chrome being shit slow for anyone else? The whole browser just locks up every time I open a new tab and it's making it even more useless than usual. I don't have any extra plugins, it's not my internet, and I'm pretty sure it's not a virus or anything, and other browsers work fast as they should, it's just Chrome.

I had serious issues last week and -no idea why - but all was resolved when I ran outstanding Windows updates (I had a few as I don't allow auto install) and restarted.

I remember you mentioned having a similar issue with Chrome only a couple of days ago, so I wasn't sure how widespread it was, but it's really annoying. It's unusable right now.

Lol that's so 2006. And I recall switching browser because it was anything but smooth. :lol

It could be worse. You could be using IE.

No problems here ever.  I have more lagging with Chrome than I ever do with Firefox.  But then again I'm using a different OS so that could play a part as well.

I've always found Chrome to be pretty sluggish with multiple tabs, but fast on individual pages. Today it's just not usable though.
It's been about a decade since I touched Firefox, so maybe it's come back good since then, but at the time it was getting very bloated and slow.

That was my concern with Firefox for a while as well.  I tried both back and forth for a few months and I wound up liking Firefox a bit better.  I haven't even used Chrome since I installed the new OS so maybe it's worth messing around to see if it is more stable.

I've only been using Chrome for compatibility, since everyone else jumped on the bandwagon because it was Google. I've never much liked it as a browser. Too simplistic and lacking in features for me.

Chrome have also totally farked up the Bookmarks functionality with the latest update - thankfully (for the moment) if you look into it there is a way to revert to the old setup.

I wouldn't know where to start - I didn't know what the hell to do ,how bookmark something where I wanted.......

I Googled it and found people rioting over it all over the world and so I just found how to revert and did so.   I don't have time to figure out what some geek with a brief to make Chrome bookmarks look like Windows 8 was up to.

Apparently it's being rolled out gradually ,so perhaps you're next  ;D

Mine is Version 42.0.2311.90 m

That's exactly the same version it says I have, so I should already be witnessing said horrors. I'm not using Windows 8, if that makes a difference. :dunno:
