New Vega;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sG9b5CQe2M

I know no one is keen on them but me, but I like their style of melodic rock.  IMO they have their own sound and can write a good song.  This one is pretty soft though, hoping for some heavier stuff more in the vein of the last two.

I actually didn't mind that at all, even though it was a softy. Might have to check it out.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

pretty much your average Sunstorm track.  JLT said this was going to be "melodic metal" ,so hopefully that's not entirely representative.  On a related note (and even though he's a bit of a tool) I saw some recent live footage and he's sounding pretty damn good for his age.  Maybe the fact that his hair is a lot younger than he is helps things.

I thought Paul was referring to the Vega track.

However in regards to the Sunstorm, it definitely does have a harder edge.

Yeah - sorry.    Shows you how much interest I take in Vega  ;D

To be fair I did like a few tracks on Stereo Messiah , but otherwise I have never really jumped on board with them.

And cause their British, they seem to infuse some of that britpop style in there at times I feel, which I know wouldn't work for most of you.

I think they typo'd it - missing an additional "o"
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

On one hand "that's more like it" but again..........like the Circus Maximus maybe .......it sounds like they're trying too hard for a commercial "anthem".  The chorus got me thinking of Farnham's  "You're The Voice"

It's alright, nothing special though.  I can hear the You're the Voice part too.  The little 'woah oh' is pretty similar.  Obviously not intentional though.

Blob and I are like when you first meet your long term partner and you really can't stand each other, but after time, you grow on each other then eventually fall in love and fuck each others brains out.  Blob and I aren't quite at the latter stage yet, but you never know.

You're not wrong about that chorus. Would have got away with it without holding the notes at the of the lines.
Better, certainly, but I can't unhear the YtV now.

Only just saw this. Not sure if I'm interested or not. I don't mind Augeri era Journey (don't know what he sounds like now), and it's very local. Tickets are $46 though, which is expected here for some mid range names, but still a bit of money for what it really is.

https://www.melodicrock.com/articles/tour-news/2016/02/22/steve-augeri-robby-steinhardt-tour-australia-legendary-voices-rock

Another tour that will struggle I would imagine.  Only diehards in Australia would know who the hell they are.

AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaand cancelled  :lol
