Does Casey work another job?

Fake edit: Oh wait, he does production work, right?

SIX sold out shows in a row... and counting.

Things are happening.  :metal

tbh I saw a few people leave after O'Brother, mostly because they're from Atlanta.  But I was surprised our show was sold out.  Very cool for them!

Yeah, as far as I know he doesn't have a "day" job per se, but he does do a lot of other work outside of TDH.  I know he does production type stuff (see, e.g., Forgive Durden, The River Empires, Naive Thieves, etc.), and he guests on other people's albums (not sure if there's any money in that), and I think he pretty much does whatever else he can get.  TDH are also a non-stop tour machine.  They were touring throughout the spring w/ Dredg, then the summer headliner they've got now, and another tour coming up in the fall with Manchester Orchestra.  I'm sure he makes enough to get by, but probably not much more than that (and I'm sure he spends plenty of nights sleeping in the van).

They're gonna be touring with Manchester Orchestra? I need to go to one of those shows. Both MO and TDH were near me in the past week, but I couldn't go to either show because I'm poor at the moment.

Just listened to Act I for the first time and really liked it.  Listening to Act II now: it's blowing my mind so far.  This is good shit.

So I listened to The Color Spectrum EPs the other day, and I have to say that my favorite as of right now is Black.

My order changes all the time. Right now I like White the best.

I have a feeling it will be like that for me. There's just so much music which one I like is more is bound to change at some point.

I still prefer the previous albums to THE COLOR SPECTRUM EP'S, but there's some really brilliant stuff on there nonetheless. My fav. EP's are Violet, White, Green and Yellow. I don't care so much for Red and Indigo though... And the rest is decent enough.

Still, looking forward to whatever Casey has lined up next!

The Procession is amazing. I absolutely love the music underneath the "One Life For Another" bit. And The Lake And The River....

Act II is seriously getting really close to overpassing Act I for me.

For me it goes: Act II > TCS > Act III.
Should really get around to hearing Act I.

Act III is better than your life.

Act III is by no means bad, I still think it's a fantastic album, but funny enough, not a single song on the album stands out to me more then the others, it's filled with really good songs, meanwhile Act II and TCS has the ones I care for the most.

Yeah, Act III is my least favorite TDH album, easily. I still like it, but it doesn't captivate me like the other albums. Maybe in time, but right now it's just an album I like, and not love.

Act I=Act II > TCS

>Act III
