Still, a bit of a slap in the face for the non-US fans, no excuse at all in this day and age.
Well, it
shouldn't be considered a "slap in the face," because there actually
is a valid excuse in this day and age. It's not as simple as you having your own video on YouTube or Facebook and just making it publicly available to everyone. Yes, from a technology standpoint, it is a very simple thing to do. But DT, like all bands, as well as its label, has a series of contractual obligations to a variety of different sources in different countries, and they each have their own series of requirements, their own timetables, etc. Although it may seem to someone on the outside (i.e., the general fanbase) like a simple thing to have everything completely coordinated, it's just not really easy to do at all. So try to keep that in mind rather than taking things personally as a "slap in the face" and assuming the band must somehow consider one segment of their fanbase less important than another. I'm pretty confident that is not the case.
