That Drummer Guy's "Bands I'm Interviewing" Thread
« on: May 01, 2012, 05:17:49 PM »
Hey guys back again pretty soon with a thread. I just got a lot of great details about my new endeavor. interviewing bands.

As some of you remember I did some interviews with Abigail Williams, and Goatwhore, but now I am finally going full board on this. There is a station based out of Kansas, KJAG, that I am working for that I will be doing interviews for Including some major, MAJOR bands. (One hint for something that is not confirmed yet... Slappa Da Bass!)

This is a list of upcoming shows that are 100% confirmed:

May 10th: Dax Riggs At THe 400 Bar, Minneapolis, MN
May 13th: Meshuggah at First Ave, Minneapolis, MN
June 26th: Iced Earth at The Myth, Maplewood, MN
August 18th: Cannibal Corpse, Between The Buried And Me, Job for A Cowboy, Goatwhore (All the Metal Blade bands, and possibly the rest of the Summer Slaughter bill) At Station 4 in St. Paul, MN (The day before my birthday no less)

Until these shows, here is my past 3 interviews:

(Morgan Lander of Kittie)

(Abigail Williams for Undead Scene TV)

(Ben from Goatwhore for Undead Scene TV)

Interview with Erik from Hate Eternal will hopefully be up eventually, that's up to Metal Blade/

Check these out and let me know if you have any questions you want answered, and let me know what you think.

It's too bad that you can't get an interview with Mastodon, Opeth, or Ghost next Monday at the Myth

I tried, many times. And I'm still trying. So far, no replies back.

Hopefully you get it, and thank God the show was moved to The Myth.

Also, I'm thinking of a question for Meshuggah, namely Tomas Haake.

I'm thinking it will be Fredrik or Tomas.

As for Unexpect, I'd love to if they come back to the states.

When interviewing Iced Earth, instead of actually saying anything to them, can you just sit there with arms crossed and a serious look on your face and just shake your head at them?

Also, if you feel like kicking John in the nuts, feel free.

If IE wasn't one of my favorite bands. Also no one in the band named John. I'll have to ask Jon Schaffer about that.

In other news Meshuggah can no longer do the interview, and has been switched with Decapitated. I have totally no problem with that.
