Yes. :) (I tried to avoid repeating bands from my previous puzzle but some fit the theme so well I just couldn't skip them, such as In Requiem.)

Hint for the only remaining B1: it's an EP, but probably one of their more popular releases. They play the first half of the EP live very often.

:lol Sorry, I just thought it's a pretty popular release.

So, yes, it's finished. Someone else can create one now. :)

I would love to make one, but I'm not really sure how to do it. :/
A while ago I tried to make one in Photoshop, but I didn't quite know all the functions that well, so when I was marking bits from each cover, they didn't get the same size, and I didn't find a solution to the problem and gave up.

How do you guys make these?

In photoshop. Make a new file that's 500x500 for 25 album covers, (or 400x400 for 16, 500x400 for 20, ...). Then use the "Rectangular Marquee tool"

Then if you look at the top, below the file, edit, ... bar you can set the style to "Fixed size" and enter 100 px for height and width. Now drag any album cover in there and now if you click on a portion it will select a 100x100 part of it, which you can drag around until you've found the right spot. Then right click, click select inverse and delete all the rest. Make sure you do this to each album cover in it's own layer, so you don't delete any of the previous ones.

Well, I do it very simply... :P GIMP is the only more advanced one I use (and I can only use something like 10% of its functions anyway... still it's very useful sometimes), so basically I make an empty file there. Then I open Paint, find the cover I want, copy it there, cut out the part I want, copy to GIMP, place where I want it. That's it. Maybe it's not too clever but it works for me :P

Okay, I have Photoshop CS5 (or 4) on my comp, but haven't installed it yet.
Might get GIMP seeing as I've heard it's easier in general, I'll see if I can make one there.

You can simply do it the same way using Photoshop instead of GIMP probably, I use GIMP for putting it together because it's easier to move stuff around precisely there than in Paint.

I suspect that a lot of these will be easy for many here, seeing as some of them are pretty common around here.
It's not ONLY studio-albums, there might be one or two that is some form of other album, but I don't think it will be that hard.
Also, I'll post hints later on if people get stuck. :P

Okay, time for some hints I recon.
I'm gonna try to not put too obvious hints, I'll give away some info, and some might become clear, then I'll eventually reveal more about those who won't get recognized. :P

A1 - British Progressive/Alternative band with a lot of Post-Rock influences. Not as big on this forum as they should be sadly.
B3 - A Concept album about a woman traveling through America, post 9/11. (might be really obvious)
C3 - British Progressive Rock band, somewhat related to Oceansize.
C4 - I would almost have expected some fans of The Dear Hunter to get this one, it's a fairly new album that wasn't released that long ago, and Casey is very much involved.
C5 - 2011-album, by a singer/songwriter that has links to Anathema.
D4 - A band that is pretty popular here on DTF, and an album that is by many considered their best. The concept behind it could probably be considered very pretentious by an outsider, but I love it to bits.
E2 - Not the most obvious pick, but for the really big Steven Wilson-fans here, this album should not be impossible to guess. The title-track uses a lot of music from Bass Communion's song "Drugged", but again it's not that uncommon for Steven Wilson to re-use his music in other projects. ;)
E5 - Some connections to Alcest in terms of Country. I know she has quite a few fans here, and I would have expected Zander at least to take it right away.

There's a few hints for starters.  :)
