Aaaaaaaaaaaand here they are
Player: Lonestar
Artist: The Edgar Winter Group
Song: Frankenstein
Review: Interesting song. I think it’s well put together and flows quite smoothly until the drum solo which kind of breaks the mood of the song. I’ve never been much into the Blackmore kind of guitar sound but I must say it works very well in the context of this song.

Song: Necronomicon (Prologue – Epilogue)
Review: The first half stared very promising but didn’t quite deliver, even boring but the song half came powerful to the rescue. Some nice riffs, cool cymbals in the drumming, great time signature changes.
Score: 4

Artist: Marco Sfogli
Song: Sunset Lights
Review: Nice. Very satrianish for a couple of moments there but what I would highlight about it is the keyboards cause I think that is the main reason this song is not just another standard guitar hero song. I must say that the guy really knows how to play his guitar though he overplays a little.
Score: 4
Player: Ravenheart
Artist: Dan Swano
Song: Encounterparts
Review: I was never sure of were the song was going cause it kept changing so much so from an overall perspective it was to grasp however each of the little parts had its own magic, nice riffs, nice keys, going from prog and heavy stuff to more listenable and calm.
Score: 4
Player: LieLowTheWantedMan
Artist: Birds and Buildings
Song: Birds Flying into buildings
Review: Very eclectic song, loved the drumming overall and how the guy is able to lead the band through all the madness, the jazzy beats were really cool and the transitions from the more darkly chaotic stuff to the more cheerful chaotic stuff, but overall there was a little bit too much chaos.
Score: 4
Player: Elite
Artist: Long Distance Calling
Song: 'Figrin D'an Boogie'
Review: Nice build up in the beginning, but then it went down. I didn’t understand where this song was trying to go really. It gets better in the end with some nice keys and riffs but overall it lost me.
Score: 3

Song: Dance Dance Dance
Review: As the name of the song implies, I wasn’t able to hold it still while listening to this. The intro is deceiving but helps a lot to set the mood for what comes next. Very upbeat and heavy on percussion. There comes a point in the song where it becomes stale and repetitive but it manages to go back up at the end.
Score: 4
Player: Ariich
Artist: Guthrie Govan
Song: Sevens
Review: I had heard Guthrie with The Aristocrats but this is a little different. The guy can pull of some nice melodies even when playing fast. As with most guitar players half the song is very interesting and the other half is interesting the first few listens but then gets a bit boring.
Score: 4

Song: Radio Protector
Review: Interesting how the same band can do two very different songs. This stroke me as post rock with some electronic beats to it which I think fit perfectly to the song. Nice melodies and a nice vibe overall
Score: 5
Player: ReaperKK
Artist: Michael Kelsey
Song: The Free Spirit
Review: The title of the song describes it pretty well. The guy just plays and goes here and there which is interesting at the beginning but then I felt like it lacked a bit of substance. The guy is really good playing the guitar and does some interesting stuff but overall it’s inconsistent
