Glad to have redeemed myself with those final two submissions.  If not for the stubbed toe with EVH, I may have been contending for the podium.

Interesting question.  I'll do some looking back and have a think.

I agree with Tim though, that first PV album is incredible.  The other one that's a lock is Allen/Lande - The Battle.

Was Mercury’s Down in Frontiers?  Hardline / Leaving The End Open?  Those two are a couple of gems.

Allegeaon is last on that bill?

Nah, they opened. Another dude who was talking to Greg with me even made a comment to the effect of "you guys should totally be higher on this bill" and Greg was all "not with these guys".. He's very humble, very cool guy.

Decapitated headlined.

Damn... That was a rough one...

Allegaeon opened, and man, I'll put them up against anyone for straight up technical brutality. They always deliver.

Kataklysm was the huge surprise for me, and by far the rowdiest crowd I've ever been in. Easily. Not even close. During As I Slither, it was a constant stream of surfers and divers, and their whole set was on fucking high. Such a great performance.

I left the rail to pee, and wanted to chat up the dudes from Allegaeon. Was in the balcony for Septic Flesh, they were good cheesy fun, like symphonic power metal and death metal had a baby.

Headliner Decapitated was absolutely, unapologetically remorseless in their performance. Insane.

Fucking amazing evening beginning to end, but man, Allegaeon.. God I fucking love those guys.

Picture with Allegaeon guitarist Greg Burgess (also the man in the Donnie mask for Nuclear Power Trio)

Oooh yeah, it's bad. Best of luck.

My wife and I enjoyed it. It was cheesy but we like Dakota Johnson.

Being in Europe, and zero expectations of tips is glorious. Nothing on the credit card machines, no hotel staff holding out their hand after helping you.  Nothing.

Love it!

Let’s just say… that I am not in Europe.  :lol

Seems like they don’t. I’ll try to remember to come back to this when I’m back home.

The Bs would have to throw in a few 1st round draft picks for that to make sense. I’m Leary of any team going after Ullmark, lest they get “Sabres” Ullmark. I’m still not sure if he’s really as good as he’s been in a Boston uniform.

I thought Sabres Ullmark was still a pretty good goalie. The problem was the Sabres part.
At least that’s what we were sold.

Not for nothing but he’s been outstanding in his three years here including last year’s Vezina.
