I’m flattered since that third album is mine (thank you so much for listening), but those Coheed albums are top tier man.
You're welcome! I wanted to give it a try, I saw your thread about it and how other users here seemed to really enjoy it. I thought it was pretty cool, and I could definitely hear some influences from the FFO list you made (particularly The Dear Hunter). My main takeaway is that I'm very impressed that you did all of this by yourself. If I didn't have any context of the album's production, I'd have no idea that was the case. I'm not an expert on all the technical bits of music production, but every aspect of it sounded very professional. It was a couple days ago that I first listened to it so my memory's a little hazy on individual songs, but I know I'll be coming back for more listens sooner or later and will try to give some more detailed thoughts about it then.
Haha, I could hear the Coheed albums just fine.
IKSOSE3 felt a little samey until the last few songs, but other than that, no complaints from either album. Certainly better than Catch Thirtythree, in any case. Right now my plan is to listen to a bunch of albums I'm not familiar with at all, and then once my list is clear, I'll go back and look through which albums I want to get to know more. As far as Coheed and Cambria goes, I have four more albums on the list, so I think the odds are favorable that I'll get around to absorbing their albums more.
