Halloween fun discussion
« on: October 28, 2014, 10:38:35 AM »
Let's just have a thread that actually STAYS on the fun side.  Discuss whatever you want, Halloween-related, but keep it fun, and don't be jerks to each other.

Discuss!

This is going to be my third year going as Freddy Krueger. The first year I won two movie passes in the costume contest where I was. Last year, I won $100. Fingers crossed I'll win something again. It's a really good costume, involving latex makeup and everything, so it does leave an impression.

I'm going as Johnden LaBranginidess! Pics coming soon.

Whenever you like.

My roommate was kind of hatching a plan for a combination Halloween/housewarming party but... our living room is still rife with boxes. :eek

I haven't, in four years, been able to get you there any other way, even though you live a mere hour away.....

The mental image...

Anyway, I will be in Austin for Halloween this year! Right now the plan is to spend Thursday night at some supposedly haunted hotel and check out San Antonio, do some drinking on Friday, and Saturday is still up in the air. Deb, if you DO have a party let us know  :D... and let me know what else you have going on so maybe we can meet up for a bit.

Swap places with your brother (a bearded gentleman; His-TOR-I-AN!).  His restaurant is closer.

I'm in Loney's shoes. I'll be working, but I am so, so excited that the staff has decided to do Halloween this year. We decided last year that no one was feeling it so it was just another night, but this year the Halloweenness is strong within them. This means the sluts will come out to play and I get to pretend to not be a pervert. Creeper mode, activated.

THE WINE WILL FLOW LIKE THE ANCIENT RIVERS OF BABYLON! THE PANTIES WILL FALL LIKE THE WALLS OF ROME!

Otherwise...I've grown out a beard and have been called Wolverine on multiple occasions at work, so it was kind of chosen for me. Albeit, a pasty-white, lazy-as-fuck Wolverwine. Old Man Logan? NAY. COUCH POTATO LOGAN!

RIP DTP.

Okay, first off, it isn't an hour.  Google maps puts it close to 2, and if you know anything about Bay Area traffic, it is closer to 3.  And although I do go to the Bay Area every now and then, that place is still WAY off the beaten path and not in an area Mrs. Bosk is interested in going to.  Add to that the price tag, and it's not an easy thing to do, even though I would like to and still plan to.  Just not easy to work out the logistics.

Don't feel bad, I drove right by him once, and was going to treat him to lunch, but he screened my call, then claimed "divine or government spy intervention" prevented his phone from ringing.  :\ :)
