I still remember frequently seeing a copy of Youthanasia in a used bookstore as a kid and thinking it must have some really disturbing music on it, lol.

So this was so much better tonight on headphones. My first listen as background music was a bit rough. Yeah, the vocals are harsh and all, but at work, that's all I felt that I heard. There's so much more space in these songs. Still, it's a lot to take in, this album. There hasn't been a lot to write home about so far this year, but this is one of the best things so far.

Absolutely agree on headphones enhancing the enjoyment of the album…I mean, it sounds quite nice regardless, but there are lots of layers, instrumentally, and I did appreciate them more that way

Saw them opening for TesseracT yesterday and that was the best opener I've seen in a while. Great album with a really good combination of chops, energy, melody and good songs.

Yeah I had never heard of them before but after one of The Dear Hunter albums Spotify does that thing where they play recommended suggestions and April Fools and Eggmen came on. I immediately knew I had to listen to the full album.
