Oh man, that sucks. I could only imagine.
I've been pretty lucky. Its been averaging around low to mid 80's which is fantastic. There was one day back in early July when I dared to ride at 97 degrees. Not doing that again
90 and lower is great for me.
I guess this is a good chance to talk about gear. The full faced Shoei helmet is excellent and has the ventilation holes, but I got some riding sunglasses which are wind proof, so now I ride with the visor up all the time and its sooo good. Its really a game changer. The leather jacket I have is like brando style so the way its cut, wind will go through and ventilate the whole thing. It feels great, even at 90 degrees.
Now the riding jeans, which I've been dying to talk about. I got Drayko riding jeans. check these out:
The look and feel like just regular jeans,
but here's what's awesome. They are lined with Kevlar, the bullet proof vest stuff and they feel great. You don't even notice the extra material inside. And temp wise, they are fine for any day its less than 90 degrees out. The gloves and boots are great too.
So I am armored from head to toe and still feel comfortable when its warm out.
