Might be a silly question, but will Epicloud go under Devin Townsend Project or just Devin Townsend? Because from what I recall he only planned on having the 4 albums, but maybe he changed his mind to add more?
Seeing the DTP on the poster I guess that's an answer. :P

It was initially just for the 4 albums but from what I recall reading or watching in youtube interviews recently, is that he likes the DTP logo and title too much to stop using it now. I'll try and find the interview if I can.

Ah, sounds cool. :)
I still feel bad for missing DTP when they came here last year, I have this thing when I get into a band/an artist the same week, or the week after they play here, and I find out afterwards. Has happen several times.  :lol

Happened to me with Dev too when I first got into him was the last time he came remotely close to here. Then I just started to get into Thrice and missed them on their going away tour :( ....

Yup it's under the DTP moniker. Dev's reasoning for it....He likes the logo too much to ditch it.  :lol

Also since the tour poster got posted online. I scored an interview with Ryan Van Poederooyen. Working on getting one with Dev too.

Way cool! I can't wait to check that out... while you're interviewing remind them they do have fans south of the mason dixon line *banjo's playing in the background*.... although Dev would quickly point out it's all management and folks who book the venues... but I still want to bitch and moan about it.  :-\

Because of my recent manic posting in this thread I figured it would be a good idea to re-post new relevant info in case some missed it being on the page prior (depending on posts per page setting) anyway...

New tour...

Also saw/heard this Ihsahn track "Introspection" with Devin performing guest vocals. I'm not big into black metal but this seems quite cool with Devin blending his style in.  :metal

*EDIT* Now that I've had a couple listens this track is f'n AWESOME!!!!

:rollin Trust me I know your pain, I have been a fan since 2004, and I didn't see Dev once until July last year (and fortunately 2 more times after, all within 5 months)

IN speaking of interviews, Ryan was my first radio interview back in November. Ryan and I have been friends with 2005, so when I asked him to help out my radio show, he gladly jumped on the chance.

The one with more views is on soundcloud, but this is the full length radio version if you wanna check it out:

It says Septemember 18th on his wikipedia page:

I wouldn't really call that black metal.

Edit: It looks like I'm making the trip up to Seattle again.

Looks like I'll be skipping out on this one. :( Chicago's a bit too far, unfortunately.

Hopefully he'll do another tour in October/November that hits Cleveland again.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

Well Devy is touring with Fear Factory in Europe in November/December so I don't know if he would be able to squeeze another US tour within a months time since "The Retinal Circus" is on Oct 27th and the tour with Katatonia lasts until Sept 24th.
He might add a couple club shows like he did at the beginning of his last headlining tour in the US though.... Here's to hoping!! :)
Keep on turning, Keep on turning, Turning around, Spinning around, round, round, round, round, round, round, round, round...

I didn't even pay for Rina's ticket, I'm not paying for yours.
