I swear, some of the people we work with are some of the most brilliant medical and scientific minds in the country, sometimes the world, but they are mindfucked morons when it comes to using everyday technology.
We have a rather groundbreaking program we launched last month at our Summit that could really help the clinical trial industry and it's a slow rollout as pharma and biotech companies trickle onboard, but we do have a couple that have helped launch it - so a site went on the portal to use it and calls us confused, saying our platform automatically linked her out to a completely different, unrelated, partner company's study platform. She says she "just went to the page and it automatically took me there, I was so confused!" Now this is puzzling because I built the platform, and there are zero, NO links on the page that go anywhere external. There are navigation links and all point to internal pages. So she emails us a screenshot to show us what happened.
...wait for it.
Multiple tabs open, one of them is our portal. The other is the other company's portal. She clicked between the tabs and was convinced our site linked her out.
I have no words.
