“Behind the Scenes” Studio Footage for Parasomnia?

Has anyone heard anything about a behind the scenes or making-of doc covering the time since MP rejoined? I don't believe there's anything like that as part of the deluxe box set for Parasomnia—-right?

I'd really love to see that footage, and I hope it does see the light of day at some point. Though, I could understand if the band felt that they'd rather not film anything for their first time back into the studio together. It probably changes the dynamic and adds pressure to the situation.

There's no footage in the box set, no. It appears nothing was recorded, as least not as far as anyone on the outside knows.

I think I read that the band didn't want to film the recording and writing sessions for this reunion. I can't remember where I read it or what the reason was.

I think they said that they didn't film any BTS stuff.  I assume they wanted to see how it went and get used to each other without cameras recording it all.  There was no guarantee that it was going to be all fun and games when they got back in the studio together after all those years.

I would have LOVED to see the making of TSMI - such a fun song.

I think the most we can hope for is Mike's usual drum tracking DVD from the studio sessions. Given that he's documented almost every final drum tracking for many of his major albums over the last 20+ years, I doubt he'd miss the chance to release "ParaDRUMnia" sometime soon.

Unfortunately there is not one as others pointed out. That's always a fun aspect of a new DT release but I could see several reasons for why it would not happen this time. Noxon may have said they felt like it was unnecessary pressure - not sure if I got that exactly right.
