You could put Octavarium with my three least favorite Dream Theater songs, I'm still voting for it.

It could have been 3, but it was kinda ruined by SD-V, so I went with 5

I feel the same way about "A Change of Seasons". Putting "Breaking All Illusions" with it is just the cherry on top.

Octavarium and Voices is possibly the single most enticing pair of songs in this series yet... but #3 has A Change of Seasons, and I'll take Fatal Tragedy and Strange Deja Vu over Pull Me Under and Take the Time any day.

This is particularly cruel and difficult for me 'cause my top 3 DT songs are Metropolis, A Change of Seasons and Voices and they're all scattered.

Octavarium + Voices is killer, and the two I&W songs are godlike even though a bit overplayed; Scarred and Finally Free is however another godlkike combo, even though I'm not crazy about Six Degrees.

Can't find a fault in the Change of Seasons group either.

In the end I picked Octavarium's group but I'll probably regret it  ;D

I went with the final group - it has my favourite song of all time (LTL) and 2 others from my DT top 10 (ITNOG and TCOT).

The second and third groups are incredible too, both have 2 of my top 10 and 2 other great songs each, so they're unlucky to lose out here!

Group 1:  My #6, 52, 45 and 89 songs = 192

Group 2:  5, 20, 51, 23 = 99

Group 3:  1, 11, 10, 21 = 43

Group 4:  3, 4, 7, 26 = 40

Group 5:  2, 16, 8, 22 = 48

5 easily, though 3 is definitely second. Can't really even consider the other three choices.

I honestly was not expecting my choice to be the most popular! Surrounded is probably my top DT songs (and one of my favorite songs, period), and I love The Count of Tuscany (despite the fact that has definite good bits and bad bits). Throw in DT's original album-closing epic for the cherry on top.

But I didn't think that was going to be a popular choice. Shrug.

Learning To Live has made #1 DTF song twice in a row, so I don't think it was that surprising that that list won!
