Parasomnia Sound Problems?

Hello everyone

I'm new to the forum and am trying to figure out how to navigate around the forum. I've just commented on something but not sure where the post has gone so apologies for posting my question again.
I've had two full plays through Parasomnia on my iPod after ripping the deluxe edition to iTunes and copying to the portable device.
I noticed the sound of the heavier pets was actually quite harsh and it's not what I expected. Never heard this other albums so I'm not sure if my headphones are playing up or if it's a fault on the cd or the iTunes rip.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I noticed in the gym this morning that the album wasn't sounding right - double checked my Apple Music settings and turned Dolby Atmos off, that fixed the issue.  I don't know enough about Dolby Atmos, but it seemed to be the reason things didn't seem 'right' to me.
