something to wash the stain of "The Astonishing" from my mind.

I like it.

RMGadelha

I wonder when people are gonna start talking about the drum sound. I don't understand how it's supposed to sound, so I won't comment on it.

noxon

Funny how you say it was "leaked" when it was most definitively purposely put out there by us ;)

Could be a language difference thing? Maybe the word for "leaked" is the same as "revealed"

That snippet snatched my weave so hard it's in the Andromeda galaxy in the year 8558. HYPED.

ddtonfire

That snippet and all the in-studio footage have me super excited for this release!!!

Cover has a very "cold" feel.   Not in a bad way.    The feel of it (to me) has that cold-ish quality that Grace Under Pressure has.

gzarruk

For whatever reason, it reminds me of Icefish - Human Hardware (the album cover)

Adami

Liked the cover a lot.

...didn't like the audio snippet. Music was....fine, but LaBrie did not sound good to me personally in my own personal subjective opinion that is in no way an objective opinion or based on objective criteria.

Hope that wasn't too insulting.

Album cover looks great, I love it! That snippet sounds amazing too!!

I'm gonna be there in Chicago on 3/29.....20 years of Scenes??!!

Madman Shepherd

Ummmmm....ok, so absolutely fucking psyched about everything I've seen/heard.  :metal

The cover looks to be a Hamlet/Yorick reference. Maybe some lyrical connection on the album to Images and Words?

Anyway, I'm pumped for this. No other band still retains the power to get me excited like a kid again over a new release.

vtgrad

YES!  Pumped as usual!  Actually let out a yell when I saw the Charlotte date... perhaps they slip Asheville in the there as well and wife and I will hit them both!  Nice to see NC getting love from the dates... that's a 2-hour drive for me so I'll sleep in my own bed that night!

Architeuthis

I hate the cover,  but the snippet sounds awesome!   :metal
Looks like they're skipping the Pacific Northwest again for this tour. :censored

So, I missed the part at the top. Pretty over all these anniversary shows.  I just want an awesome and well rounded setlist.

Regardless, that's not going to kill my buzz.  SFAM is a great album so if I have to hear more songs from that, ehhhh...there are much worse things.

Kocak

I'm excited for this album.

No one has mentioned this so far: THAT DRUM SOUND!

Yeah, I'm not so keen on that either. Everything else looks/sounds great though!

They haven't skipped us since Octavarium....which actually makes it a bit surprising for me that we're not getting a show this time.   In the early days, I don't think they had enough of a following around here to make it worth the trip.  But I was under the impression that the last several tours had packed the house.

Sucks, but they did say that it's just the first leg.  Maybe we'll get a stop on the 2nd North American Tour.

Great news!  After having to cancel Nashville last tour, we are back on the schedule.  Interesting to see what venue they are going to play. Noticed a big gap between Nashville date and Charlotte date.

The secret lies with Charlotte.

Wow...the LA dates are the weekend after Queensryche and Fates Warning are playing.  That's gonna make for a great month!

They skipped all South America for the I&W25 Tour, so who knows what their logic is... :P
