Great interview, and confirmation that JR transposes the keyboard for Images and Words

Must be annoying having perfect pitch.

Also - same guy interviewing JP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlENxNsHTVc

I enjoyed this. I wish he had gone into more detail about what he did to prevent/deal with his tendonitis. I've been having trouble with that off and on over the last few years.

Both the JR and JP interviews were really good and worth a listen. They both covered different things outside the typical interview questions.

I never knew JP had a tendinitis issue, that could have been disastrous, good thing he seemed to get it taken care of and under control.

I can imagine him going nuts over the down a half-step thing. It's like I'M PLAYING AN E BUT IT'S CLEARLY AN Eb I HATE THIS

It makes more sense "playing" what you've always played VS learning the songs in a new position and going against your muscle memory.

Exactly. My guitarist has perfect pitch and I like to write in alternate tunings. As long as he tells his brain that the tuning is different, he's fine. I can imagine it being much harder on piano though.
