Since I thought this thread was about album covers when I first saw the title, I'm going to nominate A Dramatic Turn of Events & Falling Into Infinity.

Nailed it!

Rap god.

QuoteUh, sama lamaa duma lamaa you assuming I'm a human
What I gotta do to get it through to you I'm superhuman
Innovative and I'm made of rubber
So that anything you saying ricocheting off of me and it'll glue to you
I'm never stating, more than never demonstrating
How to give a motherfuckin' audience a feeling like it's levitating
Never fading, and I know that the haters are forever waiting
For the day that they can say I fell off, they'd be celebrating
Cause I know the way to get 'em motivated
I make elevating music, you make elevator music

Btw, does Eminem do that part live? That's some insane fast talking going on!

Evai

He has a backup rapper do some of it

So... Which is more impressive, the supersonic speed rap or the F# section in learning to live?

This is a fun thread.  Let me offer up some suggestions:

Type O Negative--Christian Woman:  Actually, just about anything by Type O would be quite interesting.   No doubt it would work musically, but there is no way I can imaging James doing the deep gothic vocals that Peter Steele was awesome at.

Garth Brooks---Friends in Low Places:  I could envision them trying this as an acoustic cover, but outside of that it's hard to imagine DT taking a stab at country music.

LL Cool J--Mama Said Knock You Out:  I guess if Anthrax could have a minor hit with a rap cover, perhaps DT could do the same.  However, it would more likely be the MTV Unplugged version they would try.

Falco--Rock Me Amadeus:  The juxtiposition of DT's progressive sound and the new wave of the mid 80's tickles my funny bone.

Toni Basil--Mickey:  I wonder how many beers it would take to get James to try to sing this one.

Edguy, a power / heavy metal band from Germany, covered that. It turned out horrible for me  :lol
