So i came by this video on Reddit, and what a great performance and sound from JP. I kind of miss this raw tone from him.

Thanks for posting. I added it to my "Watch Later" list. It's a big long to check out now, but I'm intrigued.

Can't shake that The Count Of Tuscany feel with the relaxed lines at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBV1GhbMYZ8&t=1540, a mere ten years early.

Great video, it's a goldmine for everything Petrucci 90's style-related... tone and performance are unmatchable.

He even plays Necronomicon!

I listened to this entire video last week at work, really good stuff. Great era of JP tone and playing.

Thanks for posting this  great video.... I love Purple Rain and JP sounded great playing it. Will need to watch the rest when I have more time.  :corn

As I Am

THAT is THE JP I remember loving so much! :hefdaddy

Man, his tone was so amazing back then. Sounds much more organic than his modern sound.
