Prog Snob

Do you think she even remembers what a Dream Theater is?

LCArenas

That was a nice story.

I've always wondered why did they choose to put the Burning Heart all along the I&W era (Pull Me Under, Live at the Marquee and this), and whether or not it's inspired by some religious symbolism, since it's almost identical to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (And if it has something to do with JP being Catholic and everything).

Madman Shepherd

Now someone needs to track down the dude from the WDADU cover!

I think he's quite recognizable with Majesty symbol on his pelvis.

But what about ACOS front cover boy?

Looks like peach and turquoise to me, unusual but nice

YtseJamittaja

Rodni Demental

Raise the Drum

DT could do a little documentary (yes, another one) for their 30th anniversary, where they talk with all the people that once appeared in any of their artwork or videos; this girl from I&W, the guy from WDADU cover, the old man from the silent man video, some of the people from the Hollow Years video, the cast from LSFNY videos and maybe some guy from the AROP video.
Anyways, it would be cool to see something as miscellaneous as that.

ZKX-2099

And who's eye was that on the Train of Thought cover?

Train of Naught

I guess I found the photo you guys were looking for over at the "Woman in The Looking Glass" thread.

Don't forget the boy from A Change of Seasons!

CoT67

I always thought he was a younger version of Portnoy... maybe it was done on purpose.

I was wondering the same until I found this:

(from gabbo.net Dream Theater FAQ)

"What does the burning heart symbolize?

According to Portnoy, it was original keyboardist Kevin Moore's idea and essentially a copy of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The barbed wire represented obstacles and difficulties, the heart endurance and strength, and the fire their energy and passion."
