What would you choose?

Mine would be...

1. The Bigger Picture
2. A Change of Seasons
3. Octavarium

TheGreatPretender

Metropolis - I'm sure it'll be played live again for years to come, but I have yet to see it in person, and I have to.

The Killing Hand - Hasn't it been a while since they played it? I'd love to see it in person.

And honestly, any of the DT12 songs that they haven't played this time around would be great. I love them all.

Sounds good to me....................make it TBP.

1)  Lines in the Sand - Love the drumming and guitar solo
2)  Behind the Veil - Would make a great show opening or second set opening
3)  In the Name of God -  Heavy!

Learning to Live, Metropolis and Octavarium. Quite simple really - they're my 3 favourite DT songs and I've not seen any of them live.
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

CharlesPL

1. A Change of Seasons
2. Another Hand / The Killing Hand
3. Don't Look Past Me - still waiting.

Sycsa

The Glass Prison - what a great opener would this be, time to dust it off
Blind Faith - the perfect follow up and the chorus could really benefit from the Mangini-era backing tracks, thus we could finally have a good live version of it
ACOS - anniversary, would make an excellent encore

Hell's Kitchen>Lines In The Sand (Yes, I know that's two songs, but I'm cheating)
A Change of Seasons
The Glass Prison

Setlist Scotty

Don't Look Past Me (one they haven't performed)
A Vision '86 (the best of the Majesty demos, IMO)
Instrumedley II based around the 12 Step Suite (doesn't exist yet, but since this whole thread is hypothetical, it's my choice!)
Quote from: BlobVanDam on November 13, 2015, 07:37:14 PMAs a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

The Glass Prison
Octavarium
Surrender to Reason
Great choices! If I could add a 4th and 5th, they are right here!

Evermind

Definitely Octavarium. Then it becomes difficult, but I think I'll go with In The Presence of Enemies in full and, uhm, I don't even know. Probably Take the Time without any omitted parts.

As I Am

Since they couldn't do a 2nd leg in the US due to lack of interest, I'd want these 3 from DT12!
The Bigger Picture
Behind the Veil
Surrender to Reason

Lack of interest was the reason they didn't do a second U.S. leg?

Yeah - this is the first time I'm hearing that this was the reason why they're not doing another run thru North America. Got some firm evidence to back up that statement, As I Am?

TheAtliator

-Octavarium
-A Change of Seasons
-In the Presence of Enemies

Destiny Of Chaos

The Ministry of Lost Souls, Voices & A Change of Seasons.... the three highest ranking songs on my most recent top 50 list that I've never seen live.

chaossystem

1) The Ones Who Help to Set the Sun
2) A Rite of Passage
3) Behind the Veil

hefdaddy42

Maybe As I Am meant lack of interest by the band in doing another leg?

Yeah, they should do TtT.. It's the only one from I&W that it hasn't been play with MM.. AND, be sure they won't cut a single part.. MP is gone.. So that's impossible...

Vahvahenki

A Change of Seasons
Stream of Consciousness
Raise the Knife (extremely unlikely, I know)

TheCountOfNYC

There's a whole lot of songs I want to hear them play live. My number 1 song to hear them play was TDoE so I got to scratch that off of my list, but there's still plenty more. I guess I would have to go with my 3 favorite DT songs so in order:

1. Octavarium
2. The Count of Tuscany
3. A Change of Seasons

Obviously they wouldn't play all three songs at the same show since that would take up over a third of their set, but those are their three best songs IMO so to hear them live would be amazing (especially 8VM).

That's the first 3 I thought of. Hell's Kitchen would be a bonus.

RaiseTheKnife

Don't Look Past Me
Wither
Disappear

Going with my top three I've never seen live.  Hope to check one of these off the list soon.

I'm not sure if you're serious or joking? Quite interesting choices, not many like ARoP or TOWHTSTS.

But my list could be:
The Glass Prison - as the concert opener
Hell's Kitchen/Lines in the Sand -that combo could be killer in live
Metropolis - just haven't seen it live yet, it's just a must see live song.

Anguyen92

Pretty much all the songs that they did not play from the new album.

1. The Bigger Picture
2. Behind The Veil
3. Surrender to Reason

THE GLASS F'ING PRISON DAMMIT
Sorry, but seriously. :lol

Blind Faith
Octavarium
